Chapter 221: Chaos Vs Death, Titan VS Sword
Chapter 221: Chaos Vs Death, Titan VS Sword
The colossal blade descended with the concentrated force of a collapsing star. The fused energy of abyssal hunger and absolute devotion slammed directly into the Infinite Holy Bastion.
For a single fraction of a second, the universe held its breath.
Then, the invincible barrier of the God Realm shattered.
It exploded into a billion useless sparks of fading light. The sea of liquid light surrounding the Golden Heavens instantly vaporized, turning into a massive cloud of hissing, boiling steam. The deafening sound of the impact rolled outward, tearing through the absolute perfection of the Godlands.
The God Realm violently shook, and massive crystalline bridges snapped in half. Perfect floating continents tilted and cracked.
The shifting platinum sky fractured, revealing terrifying streaks of pitch black and glowing pink energy.
The tremor did not stop at the divine borders. It tore downward through the remaining firmaments, plunging straight into the Mortal Realm.
Down in the human world Gloria, the sun was abruptly eclipsed. The blue sky was entirely overwritten by a violent canvas of dark void and passionate pink light. Mountains quaked. Oceans roared and pulled back from their shores. Millions of mortals fell to their knees in sheer, unadulterated terror.
In the hidden sanctuary, Adonis’ wives: Mariana, Claudia, Millia, Isabella, Valentina, Sapohira, alongside their sons and daughters stood on the balcony of the grand keep.
Sirius was there too, explaining the situation Adonis was in.
They all looked uo at the fractured sky with worry.
"The heavens are falling apart," Maria whispered, her hands clasped together in prayer.
"Will father fine?" Ignis whispered, his small fists tightened with worry.
"Of course he will be, son," Isabella reassured, patting his small head.
"Yes." Sirius added her with a fierce, fanged smile. "Our husband is breaking them down. He is alive. He is fighting."
Back in the Godlands, the lesser deities were trapped in a state of sheer panic.
In the Domain of Destiny, Astra shrieked as her golden loom violently exploded. The threads of fate caught fire, burning with a chaotic pink flame.
"He broke the Bastion! The Sword God’s shield is gone! He is completely defenseless!"
Ignis, the God of Fire, gripped his ruby throne so hard that the armrests melted.
"Ascalon is completely exposed. If the Golden Heavens fall, the entire cosmic structure will collapse into the abyss. We must flee to the outer edges!"
The gods completely abandoned their pride. They cowered in their sealed domains, watching the sky bleed as the dark tide poured into the center of the God Realm.
Adonis Kingsbane landed heavily in the grand courtyard of the Golden Heavens. The white gold floor cracked beneath his boots, the divine metal instantly blackening from his abyssal aura. Emperion crashed down right beside him, the titan’s massive weight shaking the entire citadel. Behind them, the millions of exiled horrors formed a terrifying, silent wall of teeth, claws, and ancient weapons.
At the very top of the courtyard’s grand staircase stood the masters of the realm.
Ascalon wore his pristine white tunic. His golden eyes were wide with genuine, barely contained shock. His silver rapier was already drawn, humming with a desperate divine frequency. Beside him stood the Primus of Death, his skeletal hands glowing with concentrated grey decay.
"You actually climbed out of the absolute nothingness. And you brought a pet." Ascalon sneered, though his voice lacked its usual arrogant smoothness.
Emperion stepped forward. His shadow swallowed the golden light of the staircase.
"Ten thousand years, Ascalon," Emperion rumbled, his voice shaking the citadel walls. "I have thought of nothing but your head for ten thousand years."
"I beat you once, brute," Ascalon replied, raising his chin. "I will simply scatter your dust back into the void."
"You did not beat me in combat," Emperion roared angrily. "You used cowards and illusions. You poisoned the cosmic well of the titans. You blinded my armies with false light. You are not a warrior. You are a politician with a sword."
Adonis pointed his burning Chaos Sword directly at the skeletal god.
"Primus," Adonis stated coldly. "You used me and throw me away. Now I am going to tear you apart."
Primus chuckled. The sound was like dry bones rattling in a tomb.
"Death cannot be killed, boy. You are a mortal wielding powers you do not understand. You will burn yourself out in minutes."
"Good," Adonis smiled a terrifying smile. "That means I only have a few minutes to torture you."
"Kill them both!" Ascalon commanded.
The Sword God vanished in a blinding flash of golden light. He did not aim for Adonis. He aimed directly for Emperion’s throat.
"Golden Mirage!" Ascalon yelled.
Instantly, ten thousand exact clones of Ascalon filled the massive courtyard. They surrounded the titan, all of them lunging forward with glowing silver rapiers. This was the exact trick Ascalon had used ten thousand years ago. The blinding light was designed to overload the senses of any supreme being, making it impossible to detect the true killing strike.
But Emperion was no longer just a creature of the heavens. He was forged in the absolute dark.
Emperion closed his eyes. He ignored the blinding light entirely. He felt the cold, empty hunger of the Void coursing through his veins. He sensed the tiny, panicked heartbeat of the real Ascalon hiding among the illusions.
"Your old tricks are useless against the dark!" Emperion shouted.
The titan swung his massive fist in a brutal, sweeping arc. He did not hit a clone. He slammed his fist directly into empty space.
CRACK!
The true Ascalon suddenly materialized from the golden light, taking the full force of the titan’s punch straight to the ribs. The Sword God was launched backward like a cannonball. He crashed through five consecutive pillars of solid white gold before slamming into the main fortress wall. The ten thousand illusions instantly shattered into golden dust.
Ascalon coughed up a mouthful of glowing golden ichor. His perfect silver hair was ruined.
"You dare touch my divine vessel!" Ascalon screamed in pure rage.
"I am going to do much more than touch you," Emperion promised, charging forward with earth-shattering steps.
While the titan engaged the Sword God, Adonis walked slowly up the grand staircase.
Primus raised both of his skeletal hands. The tattered black cloak flared outward.
"River of Styx. Rot and decay!"
Grey sludge erupted from his sleeves. It was concentrated death ether. It melted the white gold stairs instantly, turning the divine metal into bubbling, foul-smelling acid. The wave crashed directly down onto Adonis.
Adonis did not dodge. He walked straight into the river of death.
The pink aura of his harem’ devotion acted as an absolute shield, repelling the physical decay.
Simultaneously, the black veins of the Void energy flared brightly. Adonis opened his mouth and inhaled. The cosmic hunger of the abyss actively consumed the grey sludge, swallowing the death ether as if it were a light snack.
"You cannot rot what is already empty, Primus. And you cannot kill a man whose wives absolutely refuse to let him die."
Primus widened his hollow eye sockets. "This is impossible. You are digesting my death ether!"
"Yes, and It tastes awful," Adonis spat.
Adonis closed the distance in a fraction of a second. The Chaos Sword ignited with towering pink and black fire.
"Abyssal Execution!" Adonis yelled.
He slashed horizontally.
"BUZZZ!"
Primus hastily summoned a massive scythe of bone and shadow to block the strike. The weapons collided. The resulting shockwave tore the roof completely off the Golden Heavens.
The Chaos Sword sliced clean through the handle of the bone scythe. The blade continued its arc and carved a deep, glowing gash across the skeletal god’s chest.
Primus shrieked. It was a horrifying sound that shattered every single stained-glass window in the citadel. Dark, viscous blood poured from his ancient bones.
"You are actually hurting me!" Primus gasped, stumbling backward.
"I told you I was an apocalypse," Adonis mocked him. "Vexa, maximize power of Harem force."
[System Alert: Absolute Devotion and Abyssal Hunger fully synchronized.]
Adonis raised his left hand. "Gravity of the Void!"
Instantly, a localized black hole appeared directly behind Primus.
The immense gravitational pull dragged the skeletal god backward. Primus dug his bony fingers into the ruined floor, desperately fighting the pull of the abyss.
"Ascalon!" Primus screamed for help.
But none came.
Across the courtyard, Ascalon was completely engaged in a brutal, bloody brawl.
The Sword God darted around Emperion like a golden wasp, leaving dozens of shallow cuts on the titan’s thick hide. But Emperion simply ignored the pain.
"Divine Judgement!" Ascalon yelled, raising his rapier high, summoning a colossal sword of pure golden light in the sky, aiming directly for Emperion’s skull.
"I reject this judgement, Ascalon!" Emperion roared.
The titan grabbed a massive, broken pillar of white gold. He infused the pillar with his own Void energy, turning the stone entirely black. Emperion swung the pillar like a baseball bat, smashing the golden sword of light into a million fragmented pieces.
Ascalon watched in absolute horror as his ultimate attack was casually swatted away.
"How?" Ascalon breathed heavily. "How do you possess this much raw power without a divine core?"
"Because we are not relying on a system, Ascalon. We are breaking it."
Emperion dropped the pillar and lunged forward. His massive hands clamped down around Ascalon’s pristine white tunic. He lifted the supreme Sword God entirely off the ground.
"You poisoned my generals ten thousand years ago. You trapped me in the dark. Now, you will learn exactly what the dark feels like."
Emperion slammed Ascalon face-first into the white gold floor. The impact created a crater fifty feet wide.
On the grand staircase, Primus was losing his grip. His skeletal fingers were snapping one by one under the sheer gravitational force of Adonis’s black hole.
"Wait, Adonis!" Primus pleaded.
His voice lost all of its ancient, mocking confidence.
"We can negotiate! I can grant you the throne of the underworld! You can rule all the mortal! I will give you eternal life!"
"I already have a throne," Adonis replied coldly, walking toward the struggling god. "And I already have eternity with my wives. You have absolutely nothing I want, Primus. Except your life."
Adonis gripped his Chaos Sword with both hands. He raised it high above his head. The pink and black flames roared, hungering for the kill.
"Please!" Primus shrieked.
"Die," Adonis commanded.
He brought the sword down. The blade plunged directly into the center of Primus’s skull. The supreme God of Death convulsed violently. His skeletal body began to rapidly turn into black ash, consumed entirely by the abyssal flames. The black hole behind him flared brightly, sucking the remaining ashes into the absolute dark.
The Primus of Death was completely erased from existence.
Adonis pulled his sword free and turned around. He looked down into the courtyard.
Emperion was standing over the battered, bleeding body of Ascalon. The Sword God was coughing up more golden ichor. His divine rapier was snapped in half. His supreme halo was flickering rapidly.
"One down," Adonis called out to the titan, resting the burning sword on his shoulder.
"Are you going to finish your meal, Emperion, or are you going to play with your food?"
"No, Adonis.I am going to savor every single second of this," Emperion replied, placing his massive boot directly onto Ascalon’s chest.
Ascalon looked up at the titan and the mortal Emperor. His perfect, flawless reality was completely ruined.
"You cannot kill me," Ascalon gasped, blood spilling from his lips. "I have synchronised with Gloria’s world core. If I die, Gloria and your wives will completely collapse."
