Chapter 13: Encountering a Schoolgirl Again
Chapter 13: Encountering a Schoolgirl Again
After a quick wash, Wang Guanxi hailed a taxi, gave the address of the Jiangcheng Government Affairs Center, and headed straight there to get his license.
But when he arrived at the government service center, he discovered that getting a business license was surprisingly complicated.
The staff member immediately dampened his enthusiasm: "First, we need to verify your name. It can't be the same as someone else's. Only after verification can you provide your registration address."
Wang Guanxi was stunned: "Registered address? Doesn't that mean we need an office first?"
The staff member nodded and said nothing more.
Wang Guanxi was instantly overwhelmed. He scratched the back of his head and walked out of the service hall, mentally complaining about this troublesome matter a hundred times over.
Just as I was about to step down the steps, I heard a man's voice behind me, cursing and swearing loudly.
"That staff member is a real jerk!"
Wang Guanxi glanced back.
A man in his forties, wearing a wrinkled polo shirt, was holding a stack of documents, and his face looked like he had just eaten a pound of bitter herbs.
He was accompanied by a young man, who was probably an employee of his company.
"Every time I come, they say I'm missing a document," the man in the polo shirt said, getting angrier as he spoke, his voice still blaring. "They didn't even tell me clearly the first time I came! This is my third time here, looks like I'll have to come a fourth!"
The young man whispered to him, "Boss, keep your voice down, don't let anyone hear you."
"So what if I heard it! Do you think I'm afraid of him?"
The man in the polo shirt said he wasn't afraid, but his voice clearly lowered, and he glanced back guiltily at the entrance of the service hall.
He breathed a sigh of relief after confirming that no staff members were chasing after him, and muttered something under his breath:
"Damn it, I should have just hired someone to handle it. It would have been more expensive and saved me from this mess."
The young man nodded repeatedly: "Yes, yes, it's so convenient to have someone else do it for you."
The two men walked away, grumbling and cursing.
Wang Guanxi stood there, watching their backs, when suddenly a thought flashed through his mind.
Agency.
Yeah, how come I didn't think of that?
He's not short of money now, so why is he making a fuss over nothing here?
Thinking of names and running around for materials is so annoying.
Just as Wang Guanxi was wondering where to find a proxy, a figure rushed over from the side and crashed solidly into his arms.
"I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry!"
The other party quickly apologized, their voice urgent and crisp.
Wang Guanxi steadied himself, looked up, and was immediately stunned.
Why does this girl look so familiar?
The girl stared at him for two seconds, then suddenly exclaimed "Huh!" and her eyes lit up.
"It's you?!"
Wang Guanxi then realized that this was the girl who had sat next to him when he took a ride-sharing service back to Jiangcheng a few days ago.
He remembered clearly that when he was in the car, he accidentally touched her smooth arm and her white thighs. He also remembered that she seemed to be a student at Jiangcheng College.
"What a coincidence, I've run into you again!"
The girl said with a smile, her tone tinged with surprise.
She hadn't forgotten that back in the car, she clearly heard Wang Guanxi's boss yelling at him on the phone, and Wang Guanxi hung up without hesitation. She only realized how awesome he was now that she was doing her internship.
Wang Guanxi laughed too: "It's quite a coincidence. You're here to apply for a business license too?"
"Yes," the girl nodded, then quickly waved her hand and added, "but it's not mine, it's for someone else."
"Helping someone else with it?" Wang Guanxi's ears perked up.
"I'm interning at an agency," the girl explained. "It involves helping clients with business registration, tax procedures, such as obtaining business licenses, changing legal representatives, and deregistering companies."
Wang Guanxi's eyes lit up.
Isn't this the agent he's looking for right now?
They actually delivered themselves to our doorstep.
Could this be related to the luck points I got from checking in this morning?
"Does your company specialize in this?" Wang Guanxi asked again to confirm.
"Yes," the girl nodded, "We handle company registration, bookkeeping, and business registration changes."
Wang Guanxi was secretly delighted, but he didn't show it on his face.
He thought for a moment, then said in a nonchalant tone, "That's perfect. I was just thinking of registering a company and was wondering who to ask."
Upon hearing this, the girl's eyes lit up, and she secretly rejoiced.
She currently earns a fixed salary of 2,000 yuan a month as an intern, and gets a 200 yuan commission for each client she refers, which is one-tenth of her salary. She never expected that the client would come to her door on their own.
She looked surprised but smiled slightly and said, "Really? You can contact our company then. It'll save you time and effort; you won't have to go there yourself."
"Sure, since I'm going to have to find someone to handle this anyway, I might as well ask you, someone I know," Wang Guanxi said.
The girl thought for a moment and quickly said, "That's great! But I need to finish getting this license done before I leave work, and then we can talk in detail, okay?"
Wang Guanxi took out his phone and glanced at the time. It was a little past eleven, but he wasn't in a hurry.
"Okay, no problem," he said with a smile. "I'll find a restaurant nearby and wait for you. Once you're done, come find me, and we can have a meal together and chat."
Upon hearing this, the girl immediately and happily agreed: "Okay, okay, then please wait for me a moment!"
After saying that, he grabbed the file bag and hurriedly ran into the government service center.
. . . . . .
Wang Guanxi found a decent restaurant near the government center, sat down at a window seat, and casually ordered a few home-style dishes.
After waiting for about ten minutes, I saw the girl rush in carrying a file bag.
"I'm so sorry to have kept you waiting!"
The girl quickly walked to the table and sat down, her face still flushed.
"It's nothing, I just sat down a short while ago."
Wang Guanxi smiled and waved his hand, "By the way, I still don't know your name."
The girl quickly introduced herself: "My name is Su Qingyu. I am a senior majoring in accounting at Jiangcheng College. I am currently interning at the 'Jiangcheng Easy-to-Use' agency, where I specialize in helping people with business license procedures."
"Wang Guanxi." Wang Guanxi introduced himself directly, "I want to start an investment company, and I'd like to ask you to handle the process."
As soon as he finished speaking, the waiter brought out the dishes he had ordered in advance, and they smelled delicious.
"Let's eat first, and chat while we eat."
Wang Guanxi gestured for her to start eating.
As they ate and chatted, Su Qingyu explained to Wang Guanxi in detail: "Setting up an investment company is more complicated than setting up a regular company. Not only do you need proof of registered address, but you also need shareholder identification, a description of the business scope, and a bunch of other documents like the company's articles of association."
Wang Guanxi was speechless with astonishment, secretly rejoicing.
Luckily, he didn't do it himself, otherwise just the documents would have given him a headache. Finding an agent was definitely the wisest choice.
He put down his chopsticks and got straight to the point: "How much is the service fee? Just tell me directly, no beating around the bush."
Su Qingyu thought for a moment and said seriously, "For a general limited company, the agency fee is between 1,500 and 2,000. For an investment company, the procedures are more complicated, so it will be more expensive, around 2,500."
"Okay, no problem." Wang Guanxi nodded without hesitation, then asked, "How long will it take to get it done?"
Su Qingyu quickly went through the process in her mind and said, "If the materials are complete, name approval will take one to two working days, license approval will take three to five working days, and with seal engraving, bank account opening, and tax registration, the whole process will take about two weeks."
"Can you expedite it?"
Wang Guanxi asked, he didn't want to wait that long.
