Chapter 543:Dragon Roar To Rescue

Chapter 543:Dragon Roar To Rescue

Hale was forced back step by step, and no matter which direction he tried to move, it was already blocked before he could even make it because the four Mythic Knights had completely surrounded him while their presence pressed down on him like a crushing weight.

His breathing grew heavier, and blood continued to drip from the wounds across his body, yet he refused to fall and instead tightened his grip on his weapon while forcing himself to stand upright.

"Come on then!" Hale roared, and his voice echoed across the battlefield as his eyes burned with defiance.

He swung his blade again with everything he had left, and the strike carried his remaining strength, but it was blocked instantly and another attack followed right after.

CLANG!

BOOOOM!

The impact slammed into him, and his body was thrown backward before crashing into the ground while cracks spread beneath him from the force.

Before he could even rise properly, another blow came, and then another followed, and then another, while the attacks did not stop and they did not give him even a moment to recover.

Hale forced himself up again while his vision blurred slightly, and his body trembled under the accumulated damage, yet the fury in his eyes did not fade.

"YOU BASTARD, LUCIEN!" he roared at the top of his lungs, and his voice carried rage and disbelief as it cut through the chaos around him.

"You sold us out, and you piece of shit… you betrayed your own people!"

"Was this all for your damn glory?!"

His chest heaved as he spoke, and blood mixed with his words while he refused to stop.

"You're nothing but a coward, and trash like you doesn't deserve to stand on this battlefield!"

Another strike hit him mid-sentence, and his body jerked violently as pain spread through him, but even then, he did not collapse completely and instead staggered forward.

For a brief moment, his gaze shifted downward, and what he saw made his heart sink deeply.

The battlefield had turned into a complete nightmare because human soldiers were being cut down everywhere, and their formation had already collapsed beyond recovery while some tried to run and others tried to resist, but none of it mattered.

They were being slaughtered without mercy.

And it was not just the Beastmen.

Lucien's forces had joined in, and their blades rose and fell without hesitation while screams filled the air and blood spread across the ground.

Hale's eyes trembled slightly.

"Traitor…" he whispered, and then his voice rose again, filled with raw anger.

"All of you… are fucking traitors!"

His fists clenched tightly, and his entire body trembled not from fear but from helpless rage, because there was no way out, no reinforcements, and no escape left for them.

Hale took a deep breath, and his expression slowly hardened as he made a decision.

"Fine…"

If he was going to die, then he would not die alone.

A violent energy began to gather inside his body as he forcefully channeled everything he had left, and his aura surged uncontrollably while the ground beneath him cracked and the surrounding air trembled.

"You want me dead?" he growled as his voice turned heavier.

"Then come and take it with me!"

The Mythic Knights sensed it immediately, and their expressions changed as they felt the unstable energy rising.

"He's overloading," one of them said quickly.

"Stop him!" another shouted, and they moved forward together while preparing to finish him before he could detonate.

But just before they could reach him, space distorted in front of Hale and a dark portal formed without warning.

The sudden change made them pause for a split second.

"What—"

Before anyone could react—

ROOOOARRRR!

A draconic roar erupted from within the portal, and it shook the entire battlefield while the pressure it carried forced even the Mythic Knights to hesitate.

In the next moment, a massive dragon-shaped blast surged out from the portal, and it tore through the air with overwhelming force before slamming into the battlefield.

BOOOOOOOOM!

The explosion spread instantly, and everything in its path was destroyed as the ground shattered and flames mixed with energy engulfed the area while the Mythic Knights were forced to dodge and retreat slightly under the impact.

"What the hell is that?!" one of them shouted as dust, fire, and debris filled the surroundings while visibility dropped sharply.

Amidst that chaos, something moved.

Chains shot out from within the portal, and they wrapped tightly around Hale's body before he could react.

"What—"

Before he could finish, his body was pulled violently, and in the next instant, he was dragged into the portal completely.

The portal closed just as quickly as it had appeared, and everything returned to chaos, yet the center of the battlefield felt strangely empty.

Hale was gone.

The Mythic Knights stood still for a moment while their expressions darkened, and they looked at the spot where he had been just seconds ago.

"He escaped…" one of them muttered.

Seeing this, Lucien was unable to maintain his composure, and the calm mask on his face shattered completely as anger surged out of him.

"Useless…" he growled, and his voice trembled with rage.

"You are all fucking useless!"

"There are four of you, and yet you can't grab a single Mythic rank. What good are you?" he roared, and his words carried sharp hostility that made the surrounding Beastmen frown.

The atmosphere turned tense instantly.

One of the Beastmen stepped forward slightly, and his eyes were filled with killing intent as he stared directly at Lucien.

"If you are so great, then why don't you act and grab him yourself?" he said coldly.

Lucien's eyes narrowed, and his aura flared up slightly as if he was about to lash out, and for a moment, it seemed like the situation would escalate into another clash.

The battlefield had not even cooled down, yet another conflict was about to erupt.

Just then an old Beastman stepped out from the group.

His presence was calm, yet heavy, and the moment he appeared, the tension in the air shifted slightly.

"Let's stop this farce," the old man said, and his tone was steady while his gaze moved between both sides.
