CH 81: Inheritance & Trouble.

As the seal of the box was broken and Rey opened it to see its contents, something around the world changed without their knowledge. As it was maybe going to put his life into some bigger kind of trouble which he can't even predict now.

Various beings began to awaken from their slumber due to the influx of energy caused by the seal's removal, which none of the trio had anticipated bringing Rey trouble than he could have imagined.

In a cave located inside a dense forest, there was a small cave exterior but a vast interior that housed something incredibly powerful. A giant creature, awakened from its slumber, opened its eyes and looked in a certain direction. Recognizing the energy but finding it much lower in density the creature went back to sleep.

In the depths of the ocean, a mountain-sized beast lay dormant, covered in dirt and coral. Its deep blue eyes opened, causing the surrounding creatures to tremble in fear. Finding no immediate threat, the beast returned to its slumber, leaving the area silent once more.

In a dormant volcano, which appeared like a normal mountain with vegetation growing on it, in which a being was sleeping soundly. When the being felt the energy fluctuation from the seal's removal, it awakened, causing the lava beside it to boil. However, the volcano remained inactive as the being soon returned to silence. The outcome was severe for the nearby areas, as beasts and animals fled in fear from the volcano.

Near the ThunderPeak Kingdom, a large mountain stood just a few kilometers away. Its peak was shrouded in clouds, with thunder raging every few seconds. If someone were near, they could see the silhouette of a massive bird flying around the peak, as if it were raging over something. Even the Duke of the kingdom was shocked to see that the beings known only to the Duke level and Royal family were enraged today, as if they had encountered the absolute enemy of their race.

But a few minutes later, the rage stopped, and the sky went silent again. However, the news of this incident spread like wildfire across the five kingdoms and the empire.

Meanwhile, in the capital city of the Ice Heart Kingdom, in one of the underground caves, there was a magnificent castle made out of snow. The technique used to create it was truly remarkable, with every edge and cut crafted with fine artistry. The owner of this castle sat on a throne made of ice, also constructed with the same level of mastery.

As the owner of the castle sat on the throne, the energy signal of the seal breaking reached them. Two chilling eyes opened out of nowhere, freezing the entire cave area in same ice. The being who sensed it grinned slightly and went back to slumber, but the disturbance also alerted the Duke family of Ice Heart.

While the energy was sensed by these beings, a human meditating in a simple room also opened his eyes. His eyes widened for a second, but then nothing happened, causing his widened eyes to change. His face broke into a big grin, like a predator about to kill its prey.

The object left for the inheritor was a simple, unadorned ring.

Without any design or a single line on it, it was just a plain, simple piece of iron.

The only feature hinting at its negligible worth was a small, rhombus-like crystal.

Despite its simplicity, Aiden tried to glean information from the system, but nothing was shown.

He exhausted every possible method to identify it until he grew tired and left it to Rey to do whatever he wanted to do with it.

To everyone's astonishment, the seemingly ring began to change upon contact with Rey. The plain silver color transformed before anyone could comprehend what was happening, and something unexpected occurred. Whole ring was turning into a plain pure pitch-black color as time passes as before other could even come out of the shock of color change, something unexpected happen.
