Chapter 59 59: I Approve of This Teammate-Killer

The attack from Double Cheese Fortress struck the small priest directly. But instead of taking damage, something baffling occurred.

The priest's health didn't drop—instead, it surged significantly!

Double Cheese Fortress: "What the... hacks?! Definitely hacks!"

All five teammates stood frozen in shock. Meanwhile, Bradley pointed at the priest with his mouth agape.

"Confirmed! This is absolute proof. I knew someone had to be hacking in this game!"

Unconvinced, the team's mage hurled a series of Wind Blades at the priest, but the result was the same—his health only increased.

Zap! Boom! Pow!

Spell after spell landed on the priest, but every single one healed him instead.

Female Dorm God: "Stop hitting me! Please! I'm begging you—I'll die at this rate!"

He stumbled as he fled, making his way toward Orson and Bradley.

Bradley turned to Orson for instructions.

After a moment's thought, Orson said, "This priest has potential. Can you handle those five alone?"

Bradley laughed heartily, brandishing his swords. "Ten or twenty wouldn't even be enough for me to warm up!"

He stepped forward, planting himself firmly between the priest and the angry party.

Silver hair glinting in the icy light, Bradley's face twisted into a devilish grin. With a flick of his hands, a gleaming Light Sword and a pulsating Dark Sword appeared in each hand.

Orson chuckled, casually commenting, "Looks like your tools got a bit... longer."

Bradley stumbled, nearly tripping over his own feet. He turned back with an awkward laugh. "Six feet tall, 18 centimeters—I swear, I'm not exaggerating!"

"You can't go five minutes without lying, can you?" Orson snapped.

Meanwhile, Double Cheese Fortress was fuming. "What's the deal here? You can't seriously be defending this guy! He's been sabotaging our grind!"

"Nothing personal," Bradley replied lazily, raising his dark sword, "but how about you try bullying me instead?"

Double Cheese Fortress sneered. "So you're a B-tier Magic Swordsman? Big deal. I'm a B-tier Light Ranger!"

The priest eagerly nodded, showering Bradley with compliments until the latter was practically glowing.

Orson finally interrupted their mutual flattery. "Do you have a Soul Seal?"

Female Dorm God froze. Then, without warning, he bolted.

"Quaking Stone Spikes." Read latest stories on empire

Orson's soft murmur summoned a wall of stone, blocking the priest's escape.

The small man tried clambering over but lacked the agility to scale it. Frantic, he turned to find another route, only for Bradley to appear in his path.

"Running away, huh? That's not very polite." Bradley sneered, pinning him with his Light Sword.

"Please! Mercy! If I die, leveling up will take forever!" The priest crumbled, hands raised in surrender.

Orson's tone was calm. "Relax. Just let me see the Soul Seal's attributes. It's bound to you, so there's no way we can take it."

The priest hesitated but eventually nodded. "Alright, fine. But don't laugh!"

He shared his Soul Seal's information:

[Left Hand of the Cursed King]

- Grade: Heroic Soul

- Passive Skill 1: Cursed Healing: Heals have a 50% chance to reduce the target's HP to 90%. When this triggers, all teammates gain +90% to all attributes.

- Passive Skill 2: Cursed Retaliation: If insulted by a teammate, steal 90% of their mana. If attacked by a teammate, steal 90% of their HP.

Divine Commentary: Treasure your teammates. Avoid curses. Good luck!

"This... This is the most cursed Soul Seal I've ever seen." Bradley stared in disbelief.

Orson clapped slowly. "Congratulations. I thought my Super God-tier Soul Seal was strange, but yours takes the cake."

Orson's eyes gleamed as he smiled at the priest. "Join our guild. Godslayer could use a priest like you."

"Are... are you serious?" the priest stammered, clearly shocked. "Didn't you see what I just did? I'm practically a walking disaster!"

"You're exactly what we need," Orson replied confidently.

The priest's Soul Seal, despite its bizarre effects, was still Heroic-grade—just one step below Divine-grade. If used strategically, its +90% attribute buff could turn any fight in their favor.

And as for the second ability?

Orson chuckled inwardly. "If my teammates don't die from my curses... they'll make me even stronger."
