Chapter 242 242: Everything Feels Off
Chapter 242 242: Everything Feels Off
Orson's face darkened as he examined the stats of the black demon before him.
[God-Emperor's Progeny · The Traitor · Cain: Level 60]
[King-Level Lifeform]
[Health: 500,000,000]
[Attack: ?]
[Skills: ?]
Orson's mind exploded in disbelief. He had just managed to whittle down Cain's health by one hundred million, and now, this bastard had a full five hundred million again?
Cain had consumed the Demon Ascension Pill, and his power had already surpassed the King-Level threshold! He had truly become the Fallen King of Infinite Dimensions!@@@@
Orson couldn't help but curse under his breath, Who can even defeat this guy?
What kind of nonsensical task is this? Who could possibly pass it?!
A thousand questions raced through Orson's mind.
"Infinite Dimensions doesn't have a task that's impossible to survive..." he muttered, taking a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down.
The first thing that came to mind was to use the God-Emperor Earrings, to create some distance and grind Cain down slowly—even if it meant a drawn-out fight!
"Space Bind!"
"Unable to activate space items!"
"Indestructible spirit body is on cooldown..."
Orson couldn't hold back the bitter laugh that escaped him. He had laid out all his cards, yet he still couldn't defy fate.
Looking at the Super God-grade Divine Soul Seal in his hand, he was filled with regret. Even with just the Human Soul Seal – Heavenly Spirit's Right Eye, he had once been confident in his ability to dominate Infinite Dimensions.
But as a player who had pushed his strength to the limit, he always sought more power!
"Even if I can't complete an entire set of Soul Seals, I must at least get the other two Soul Seals to divine level." Orson's eyes darkened. He was ready for the worst-case scenario.
The towering black demon, Cain, slowly stood up. His figure was immense, his black wings crackling with purple lightning. His eyes, as dark as night, radiated an aura of destruction, while his grayish horns sprouted from his head, crowned with a faint halo.
Like the apostle of Hell's Lord Satan, he was ready to spread endless terror!
"Celestial portal... It looks like something's torn it apart!" Dancing Giant Boobs exclaimed in shock, staring at the sky, and the remaining members of the Godslayer Union also froze in place.
A gigantic claw, impossibly massive, burst through the Celestial Gate as if it had been squeezed open. Endless spatial turbulence surged out, forming a chaotic, mysterious zone in the sky.

"My followers, this king will answer your prayers..." A cold, oppressive voice echoed in everyone's ears, as if an evil spirit had crawled out of the abyss.
"Damn it, what the hell is this now? Is it never-ending?!"
"A claw... A super-sized dragon claw?"
The players inside the Celestial Fortress stood frozen, their faces pale as they witnessed an impossible sense of despair wash over them, one that shouldn't even exist in a game.
Just seeing that claw gave Orson goosebumps...
A massive black eye peered out from the spatial crack. An overwhelming darkness descended, a terrifying aura enveloping the heavens and the earth!
Weak Fallen NPCs instantly exploded into pools of pus and blood. Players saw the following message pop up:
"Cannot move!"
"Cannot act!"
"Cannot leave combat!"
"Warning: Force logout will permanently delete your game character!"
Everyone was stunned, especially the hardcore veterans who had been playing MMORPGs for years—none of them had ever seen anything like this before.
"Are you serious?! Forcing us to watch a damn movie? Just stand here while NPCs kill us?"
"Unbelievable! Force logout and delete accounts? What the hell?!"
Even if the Dragon King Rebellion was as strong as a god, surely a forced logout that deletes characters wasn't possible in the game?
This absurd setting—could it even exist?
Orson knew all too well that Infinite Dimensions was an illogical world, and strange events often occurred in the Gods' Armory, so this was hardly surprising.
"This can't be happening..." Cain muttered, eyes wide as he looked at his hands, then at the corrupted NPCs. His once magnificent demonic body began to tremble, tears of blood falling from his eyes. "Did I... make a mistake?"
"Celestial Fortress defense countdown: 4 minutes!"
A notification rang in the minds of the Godslayer players. Despair crept in, as they were so close to victory, yet Cain and Rebellion had far surpassed anything they could handle.
"Heretics, you will perish under the cleansing light!"
Suddenly, a sharp cry rang out from the sky, and a silver ribbon spiraled above the Celestial Fortress.
"What the hell?! That's one huge Holy Light Silver Dragon!"
A massive silver dragon, blocking out the sun, appeared above the Celestial Fortress, with a lone figure standing on its head.
Her golden hair cascaded down like a waterfall, wearing silver-elven armor with intricate cutouts. Her eyes were firm and strikingly beautiful, carrying an aura that even Bradley couldn't fathom.
It was an unmatched, otherworldly beauty!
Orson's eyes widened in surprise as he looked up, his heart skipping a beat. "It's her!"
Aetrexa!
One of the top ten dragon knights of the Infinite Dimensions natives!
"Aetrexa... kill me. Kill me."
"No..." Cain shouted madly, "I am the God-Emperor! No one can defeat me! I will dominate Infinite Dimensions!"
Cain fell into a frenzy, one moment pleading to the sky, the next roaring with violent rage.
Aetrexa remained cold as ice, her silver eyes betraying no emotion as she stared down at Cain for a mere second.
"Dragon Knight Tactics!"
With a swift motion, her magnificent silver war spear rose, and she called out softly: "Holy Might: Silence Exile!"
