Chapter 296: 296: They Want Us Dead!
Chapter 296: 296: They Want Us Dead!
"Hahaha... Orgod's level is back to zero!!"
"Everyone, keep an eye on the global Leaderboards! This bastard is finally going to be removed! Trash!"
Pokpung and the others couldn't help but laugh mockingly when they saw it, while Usher's forehead bulged with veins, his face full of excitement.
The people around them smiled broadly, almost as if they had just defeated the ultimate boss in Infinite Dimensions, caught up in a frenzy of joy.
"The nightmare is finally over..."
Usher sighed softly, then turned to look at Snow Dream, only to find her still furrowing her brows, clearly astonished by what was happening.
Orson stared at the word "death" on the chessboard, helplessly shrugging.
"So, what now?"
Naoko's emotions were like a rollercoaster, realizing that staying by Orson's side was a huge test. This guy seemed like he was on the brink of failure every time, but somehow always managed to get back up. It was confusing for her.
"You just need to do as I say. We can't lose." Orson said calmly.
Then, a beam of destructive light shot out, and Orson inevitably died again. His gear and most of his items scattered all over the ground.
"Let's wrap up this damn dungeon quickly. His loot is more valuable than The Divine Items from the Wishing Pool!" Pokpung greedily eyed the pile of treasure.
"There are so many good items here. My suggestion is we split them evenly. Hehe." Poison King Sinternan cackled.
Usher couldn't help but burst out laughing at this: "Split evenly? Do you even have the right to talk about splitting?"
Kalrien's eyes flashed, nodding, "Whoever has the strength gets to take it. That's the rule of Infinite Dimensions."
"Heh, you're not Orgod. We other players could team up and still wipe the floor with you," Davis sneered.
"He's right, others might fear you, but I'm not scared!" Pokpung chimed in.
Although the life-or-death game wasn't over yet, everyone's attention was completely focused on Orgod's dropped items. Everyone knew these weren't just any ordinary Divine Items.
Not to mention the personal boost these items could give, even if a guild seized them, they would be a treasure trove.
As the arguing grew more heated, the giant Vilitian eyes above them glowed with a strange, eerie light, almost as if this was the outcome they wanted to see.
Naoko: "What mirror... I don't see anything."
"A pair of Forbidden Magic-tier Earrings. Whether we get the rest doesn't matter," Orson's voice echoed again.
Naoko focused and nodded, "I see it now. You only want that, huh? But... with your level, you seem like you can't do much."
"I just need that. Don't worry about the rest," Orson said with a smile.
The scene shifted, and Orson appeared at the Bloodaxe City resurrection point.
After a massive level penalty, his level dropped to 1. His equipment and most of his items fell off.
But none of this was beyond his control.
Orson looked up at the Abyssal Rift in the sky, a teasing smile playing on his lips. "Curse me, go ahead and curse me."
He raised his hand and swung his beginner's staff. The Battle Space opened, and the Crimson Lizard King roared as it appeared in front of him.
A heavy drumbeat sounded, and Orson, eyes sharp, rode the Crimson Lizard King once more, charging towards the Abyssal Rift.
"Who's that? What the hell is going on? A level 1 player... riding a dragon?"
"Orgod! Didn't the rumors say he was finished? How is he still here?"
There were still plenty of players in the Abyssal Rift, most of whom had previously been wiped out by the top 12 players. They weren't ready to give up and had returned to try again.
When they saw the massive black dragon appear again, their spines tingled with fear.
Orson didn't pay attention to them, continuing to pull mobs.
Soon, a huge wormtail dragged behind him, followed by over a thousand worms, all between level 35 and 40.
"You killed a Cursed Corpseworm. Experience +20,000 (Double)"
"You killed a Titan Bloodworm. Experience +30,000 (Double)"
...
A large number of monsters turned to ash, and Orson's experience bar began to explode.
With a level difference of more than 30 levels and the double experience boost, he leveled up rapidly.
In the blink of an eye, Orson was at level 10.
The leveling speed was like a rocket, with the upgrade light surrounding him nonstop, leaving the players below in awe.
In less than ten minutes, tens of thousands of monsters were killed, leaving nothing but broken corpses.
The players' minds were blown. "What the hell? This guy's leveling so fast, is he cheating? This is insane!"
His level quickly shot up to 25.
Orson smiled faintly, stopped killing monsters, and instead rode the Crimson Lizard King, hovering in the air.
His eyes flickered, and a strange light rose in them as he activated the guild skill [Celestial Vision].
He scanned the entire Titan corpse zone.
"We're almost out. Are you ready?"
At that moment, Naoko's voice sounded.
"Ready."
After Orson spoke, his expression changed drastically. A murderous intent filled his eyes.
He opened the guild chat and coldly said, "All Godslayer members, listen up!"
"They want us dead!"
"They curse us with ruin at every turn!"
"They... started this
war, so... they all must die!"
Orson practically shouted these words. Madman, Bradley, and the others couldn't help but pause, feeling the raw fury in his voice.
Madman's face darkened, his hair standing on end, and he trembled, "In 20 seconds, the Celestial Fortress main cannon will be raised! Aim at the Abyssal Rift!"
