Grandma Qin noticed something was off between the father and daughter and asked, "What happened? Did you two have a fight?"
Upon hearing this, Zhouzhou and Ye Lingfeng exchanged a glance, both huffing and turning their heads away, showing each other the backs of their heads. Their actions were already an answer.
Grandma Qin was even more confused. Just now, Ye Lingfeng didn't hug Zhouzhou, nor did he help with the luggage, leaving Zhouzhou to carry those huge bags on her own. It seemed this argument wasn't minor.
"Daddy hit me!" Zhouzhou was the first to complain. She clung to Grandpa Qin's neck, looking upset, and buried her face against him, clearly sad.
At her words, the expressions of the Qin family members shifted, and they all turned to Ye Lingfeng with disapproving looks.
Ye Lingfeng glanced at Zhouzhou and said, "You hit me too." This little chubby girl was good at making complaints, only mentioning what he did without saying what she had done.

"Even though Sharp Tongue Daddy and I both got eliminated in the end, the prize still went to me," Zhouzhou declared, hands on her hips, feeling very proud of herself.
"Eliminated?" Qin Bei scratched his head, puzzled. "Zhouzhou, weren't you and Uncle Ye just traveling?"
This was what Qin Lie had told the family.
But as soon as he finished speaking, Qin Xi covered his mouth.
He studied Zhouzhou and Ye Lingfeng, then seriously said, "It's obvious they weren't on a trip but went somewhere they can't talk about."
He was always good at observation and had noticed something was off. If it was just a vacation, why did they always go together, just the two of them? The key was that Uncle Ye didn't even get jealous, so it had to be important business.
But if they kept saying it was a trip, it must be something they weren't allowed to discuss.
Grandma Qin couldn't help laughing and led the little chubby girl to the living room, telling everyone what had happened. Qin Bei had just come downstairs and, hearing the story, laughed so hard he nearly fell from the stairs, sitting on the steps until he finished laughing.
The commotion brought everyone else out, and when they heard the whole story, they paused before bursting into laughter. The room was filled with the sound of their amusement.
Even Qin Lie and Ye Lingfeng couldn't suppress their smiles.
Realizing they were all laughing at her, Zhouzhou's face turned bright red. She shyly scratched the floor with her little toes and then covered her face, throwing herself into Qin Lie's arms.
After a moment, she used his arm to cover herself, thinking if she couldn't see them, they couldn't see her either.
Qin Lie's lips slowly curved into a smile as he hugged his silly daughter and glanced at the others.
Enough was enough.
Grandpa Qin's authoritative gaze swept the room, and the laughter quickly faded.
Grandma Qin tried to stifle her giggles. Seeing her embarrassed little granddaughter, who looked like she wanted to bury herself in a hole, she cleared her throat and said, "Alright, alright, Zhouzhou must be starving. Let's eat."
At the mention of food, Zhouzhou's little ears perked up. She cautiously peeked out from Qin Lie's embrace and, seeing no one was laughing anymore, let out a breath of relief. A bright smile spread across her face as she jumped up, ready to eat.
If she didn't mind, then nothing had ever happened.
Everyone else held back their laughter, careful not to upset the little chubby girl. She might be small, but she had a big temper.
Just look at her and Ye Lingfeng. She could definitely hold a grudge.
The housemaids quickly finished preparing the meal. Zhouzhou was truly hungry, devouring everything from her little gold bucket. With these two, the family never worried about leftovers.
Zhouzhou almost licked the plates clean before finally finishing. Ye Lingfeng also put down his bowl and, after saying goodbye to Grandma Qin, turned to head back to the Ye family home.
As Zhouzhou watched him leave, she puffed up her cheeks in frustration.
