Seeing her like this, Xi Mo couldn't help but chuckle. He stepped forward and pulled her up. "Come on, stop crying, I'll walk you out first."
"Alright." Zhouzhou nodded obediently, following him out.
Once she saw his car drive away, her tears immediately stopped flowing.
She tried to force herself to cry again but couldn't, so she simply wiped her eyes and decided not to cry anymore.
"Let's go," Ye Lingfeng said, holding her hand and stretching. He was already mentally preparing for the next task.

She then recounted the whole situation to him.
After hearing this, Qin Ren understood. Jing Bai's behavior was probably really connected to Zhouzhou. It seemed he cared about her, although for most of the time, it was just because of his desire to study her.
But that unique interest he had toward her was definitely different from how he treated anyone else.
Zhouzhou stomped off angrily, and Qin Ren caught up to her and asked, "What happened?"
Zhouzhou, looking deeply aggrieved, explained, "There's no chair inside, I can't reach anything."

Zhouzhou grabbed one of the chairs and marched back into the lab. She slammed it on the floor and stepped onto it with an exaggerated pose, hands on her hips, glaring at Jing Bai.
Jing Bai didn't even bat an eye, maintaining his expressionless demeanor as he continued with his work.
Zhouzhou stood still, arms crossed, eyes locked on him, waiting.
After a long while, her eyes started to sting from not blinking, and she couldn't hold it any longer, blinking her eyes.
Just then, Qin Ren walked in and saw the scene. He couldn't help but laugh out loud.

He sighed and approached them, eyeing the reagent in Jing Bai's hand. "Alright, stop messing around. You're doing it all wrong."
Jing Bai ignored him, expressionless, and poured out the reagent to start over, still unwilling to speak.

He picked up Zhouzhou and set her on a workbench. "Come on, watch Big Brother do the experiment."
