This was clearly the place where the Brian family kept prisoners. Why had they brought Zhouzhou here?
Ye Lingfeng glanced at the people in the room, clenched his teeth, and strode out. As he walked, he ordered, "Handle the surveillance here."
"Yes."
Outside, Zhouzhou looked around confused, asking, "Grandpa, where is this place?"
The butler smiled, but there was a sinister edge to his grin. "This is the place you were curious about. Didn't you want to see it for yourself? Well, now you can go in and take a look."
With that, he signaled to the two guards, who immediately opened the door.
Zhouzhou looked inside and immediately burst into tears. "I don't want to go, I don't want to go in! It's so dark, I'm scared, Grandpa!"
The little girl cried uncontrollably, snot and tears pouring down her face. The butler didn't even look at her, instead waving his hand expressionlessly at the guards. "Kill her."
The two burly men immediately grabbed Zhouzhou and dragged her inside.
As Zhouzhou hesitated, unsure whether she should knock them down and escape, she caught something out of the corner of her eye. At that moment, she gave up on the idea of escaping and continued crying.
The butler paid no attention, wiping his hands with a handkerchief before walking away, still holding his elegant, gentlemanly demeanor.
The two guards chatted casually. "How did this little girl offend the family head?"
"Who knows? Doesn't matter, we just do our jobs."
"Too bad, though. She's actually quite pretty."
As they spoke, they exchanged a glance and reached out toward Zhouzhou's face.
Zhouzhou glanced at them, a cold glint flashing in her eyes.
Just as their hands were about to touch her, one of the men's wrists was suddenly seized by a hand. In the next instant, a slit appeared across his neck, and he dropped dead on the spot.
Zhouzhou grabbed the other man's arm and performed a shoulder throw. With a "crack" sound, she locked his fat arm around his neck, instantly cutting off his breath.
She released him and turned to look at the air beside her, shouting, "Dad!"
Ye Lingfeng caught her steadily and asked, "How did you end up here?"
He had guessed the worst—perhaps he had been discovered. But he hadn't heard any major commotion, so he wasn't sure.
Zhouzhou pouted and recounted what had just happened.
She thought Old Brian was crazy!
Ye Lingfeng still couldn't understand why Old Brian had attacked Zhouzhou, but it no longer mattered. He lowered his head, looking at her. "Zhouzhou, I need your help."
Upon hearing this, Zhouzhou puffed out her chest and said, "Tell me, Dad!"
His bones were all shattered, not just broken, so she couldn't heal him properly.
Ye Lingfeng understood.
"Just keep him alive for now."
Zhouzhou nodded firmly. She would try her best.
She pulled out a golden needle and skillfully inserted it into his body. Her energy flowed into him through the needle, slowly repairing his meridians.
But his meridians had been severed, and healing him wasn't something that could be done in a short time.
The more she treated him, the more her heart ached.

Half an hour later, Qiu Guoliang's eyelids finally fluttered.

Ye Lingfeng said, "You go ahead."
He then tapped his earpiece and spoke with cold resolve, "Get everyone over here."
