Chapter 64 Spar and the evolution theory

Chapter 64 Spar and the evolution theory

Lucas told everyone about the shelter requirements and they were fascinated. But at the end of the day, only John and Lucas were the ones who were truly happy.

They were the ones that were taking care of all the commanding and living conditions and after knowing that Lucas could upgrade the shelter again with some effort of his own.

He had started it and made it something very important in his daily routines.

Now that the number of planks was voluminous, they had to make an upgrade in order to be better efficient.

John started making something that was long overdue and after only a few hours in the morning, a makeshift lumber axe was ready with better sharpness than before.

For the task, John had placed two of his leveling points in strength while two more in stamina without taking any advice from Lucas. As expected, he wasn't able to get up from the floor for a whopping ten minutes scaring everyone other than Lucas who only sighed in annoyance. Explore more stories with empire

But John still completed the full axe with a thick yet comfortable in hand handle.

Lucas used the axe with the extra plus-five strength from Sean and with only one good hit, the thin tree was already done halfway.

Lucas only took around half an hour to cut the numerous thin trees that plagued the shelter's outer province.

Lucas tried cutting one of the trees that had a thickness of six feet, it was one of the bigger trees that Lucas was annoyed by because they block his eyeliner with the sky but he was unsuccessful.

It had still become better than before since the shelter's whole territory had a clear sky.

"We have so much space now, now the trees won't take all the space in here," Ella said and picked one of the thin trees to put it with the others. With the level-ups, her strength had increased a lot.

There was definitely a good size difference between the two, while their height was comparatively the same, the broadness wasn't. John's shoulder looked very broad and so did that hairy chest and abs.

His abs had a layer of fat, that Lucas could tell but there were still abs at the age of 40 showing him how John had maintained himself.

There were also some changes due to leveling that Lucas found a great term for, they were 'evolving' as a human with each level up.

This concept was very unique for Lucas, he had only heard in books about human evolution for a long time but there were no better explanations.

Their sleep had decreased in a healthy way, their digestion had become smoother, and all the troubles that they had before were long gone. So Lucas had no choice but to think of the leveling up as their evolution.

Bam!

Lucas took the vertical swipe that was going to take a curve soon head-on while not leaving John any chance to overpower him.

He had trouble in pushing back John whose weight was double of what he had right now. But a great push made an entirely other conclusions than what was imagined by the duo.

CRACK!

Lucas's spear broke from the impact right from the middle and John's spear unintentionally came toward his chin with speed.

Instinctively, Lucas moved his body without his brain administrating it with time. The spear landed at his shoulder and went in making a pretty good deep cut in the process.

But surprisingly, both of them did not look to care about it. They just threw the spears on the ground, shook hands, and went their way toward the only healer who waiting for them with a smile.

"Healers are the best," John said with a grin and made Lucas sit near Ella who started her healing.

With time, the bloody wound that looked to be very deep started healing making a tingling and itchy sensation but Lucas just closed his eyes and concentrated in calm.
