"It's Sandra's tamed beast, you don't have to be scared from it." Lucas said while looking at her.

Ella's eyes were too serious, there was no usual warmth in them. She eyed the undead for a long time and didn't seem to stop anytime soon.

Lucas was alert, he didn't want anything to happen to the undead, they had done a pretty great job in making it, destroying would mean that all their hardwork was for the naught.

"Sandra, this is a good time to explain now." Lucas muttered while also making sure that everyone heard him.

There was a guy in the crowd that he recognized was not a part of the shelter till now, Phil looked at the interaction with confusion written all over his face.

"Hahh... I told him to follow you but I didn't think you will take me back to the shelter... guess we have to this huh..." She muttered slowly yet no one there was incapable to hear her.

"Its my skill, I can summon undead from dead creatures now." Sandra said after getting up, her eyes as serious as usual.

"Is it safe to bring it here?" She asked yet others didn't share the same sentiment.

"Damn, that so cool!" Sean exclaimed with excitement and went toward the creature with hype.

Barney, his brother without saying anything went running with him.

Everyone started closing the distance with them and Ella too reluctantly came as her sons were already near.

She was unsure yet sighed as in the end, she knew that Lucas would never do any bad to his people.

"Is it going to go soon?"

"You don't have to be so formal, its fine. Now, lets go. Alright everyone! It was good talking with you all, we will be going nowww." Lucas shouted and grabbed Phil by the arm.

"Huh?" Before Phil could even react, Lucas had taken him out of the shelter and inside the guest building.

It wasn't really a guest building but a guild hall. It was under construction.

'BUt having a guest room seems good too. Helped me test this guy...'

"Please, sit. We will eat after some time."

"I ate just a few hours ago, but thanks for asking." Phil went and sat awkwardly, Lucas was already on a chair.

"So what? Here, we can eat as long as we want. The food goes to waste if we don't."

Just after Lucas said that, Phil's eyes became wide in surprise and he seemed to bite his lips in frustration.

"... This is so different. We didn't have a lot of food with us, eating 2 times a day was already a good thing."

"..." Lucas didn't respond and nodded. He didn't want to say anything that would feel blunt or rude. He didn't trust himself in situations such as this.

Phil was going to be vital in the shelter and Lucas now had to just check whether his senses were right or not.

"If you don't mind me asking... And you don't have to answer... but can you tell me some things about you and... the people you were with till now?"

Lucas said while treading on thin nails, he wished for John to be wit him and talk on his behalf yet this was a habit he had to get out of his system.

"You don't have to worry, Lucas. I am willing to tell you everything, you have already helped me this much. But...

"Yeah?"

"I have something to tell you before anything else..."

"What is it?" Lucas asked without showing much emotion other than a positive tone.

"I think... I think I am cursed."
