Lucas looked at the sword with even more aggression, his emotions were in turmoil.

The guard moved the sword at the neck and a trickle of blood came out.

"What's the meaning of this?" Lucas asked with gritted teeth.

The darkness was already itching him all over and his heart was telling him to rip apart that guard. Lucas couldn't help but grind his teeth.

The guard felt even more threatened by the way Lucas was acting.

"I am surrendering myself," Lucas said with a sigh. He wanted to put his hands up yet any sudden movement would lead to some really bad repurcussions.

The guy at the side said with a confused face, all this time, he didn't know what the heck had even happened.

The guard looked in the eye of Lucas and shuddered, the more he stared, the more he felt like a little lamb waiting to be cut when it got old enough.

"AGGHH!!" Mark bellowed in pain, a big bruise on his face.

Something snapped In Lucas's mind when he looked at that bruise, not only had Mark got in this trouble because of him but he had also become an easy target to hit.

Lucas bit his lip furiously making blood come out uncontrollably.

He hadn't yet realized but his canines had elongated a little, and the darkness was oozing out because his heart was at full capacity.

The head guard felt pain in his whole body, as if infinite needles were getting picked in his skin. The horses that were moving the carriage started running even faster scared of the one that was just behind them.

Lucas wanted to just burst open in anger, he didn't care that he had no weapon, he just wanted to rip apart the person in front of him with every shred of his body.

Yet his gaze fell to the window of the carriage for a split second, it was moving very fast but he could get a glimpse of a little girl moving with her parents with the most innocent smile she could muster, the happiness on her face made Lucas smack his face with a lot of force.

He closed his eyes and made all that darkness enter his heart again, it was hard as it felt like there was a lot of it inside already.

Even the mark was barking at him making him want to do things that he knew he would regret dearly.

The atmosphere became normal again.

Everyone in that carriage was sweating profusely, the head guard could not even look at Lucas's face. His every instinct was telling him just to stay put.
