"So, do you mind telling me what happened to you? Your blood lust is still very strong." The old man was peering out of the window while he asked Lucas the question.

Lucas stood there and after a few moments, he came up with the only explanation he could have for now.

"As you already may know, chaos energy resides inside me. And I need an output for it to not make me mad... just like this one."

"Hm... I knew you had some in you but the amount didn't seem like much of a trouble. But it seems you are unable to control it properly which is quite disappointing and bad."

Lucas looked stunned after listening to his master say that.

"Alright, I have decided, with Alchemy, we will be helping you control this chaos inside you."

"You know how to control it?" Lucas couldn't help but ask excitedly, the root of his problem would finally be treated properly.

"What or who do you think I am, brat? There is not much that I do not know about this world."

"Please! Tell me, master!"

It was a sight to behold, Lucas had fallen on one knee kneeling in front of Sam with his head down.

Sam looked at him from above and snorted, it was the first time Sam had seen him so desperate out of all the time he had been with Lucas.

"The easiest way would be just to let you go berserk which I assume you had been doing all this time. It's the barbaric way, not suiting to alchemists such as ourselves."

"The option for you as an alchemist is to become an advanced alchemist and make the 'Chaosbane', which is an advanced tier potion. Just making it would need a couple million gold to spare."

"Gold or notes?"

"That's gold for you and it's the kind of money even I would take a few months to amass by making world-class potions. But that is the least of your worries, the ingredients reside in a place that is the worst of all, making them expensive but also, VERY RARE."

Lucas got the feeling that his master should offer him to do it yet there was also a fact that Sam had no reason to do so.@@@@

Lucas said thank you again and left the room with happiness, Sam finally sat down on the chair and looked out the window with peace.

'He doesn't befitt being an alchemist, I know that but... Haahhh that class of his has too much potential, I can't leave him be." Sam had determined and nostalgic eyes, there was some sadness in his eyes, the reason? Nobody knew.

The whole day, Lucas practiced his alchemy and went back to his room late at night.

Just when he sat down on the bed and started enjoying the coziness, disturbance came knocking.

The way she acted, Lucas couldn't imagine her being the leader of such a big gang in the town.

"Tsk" Suddenly, her persona changed to serious too.

"I heard you got arrested today, you being out so early means your master bailed you out himself, not too rare. Anyway, can I come in?" She asked the last part in innocence again.

"No, meet me in the morning."

A vein popped in Lila's head as she walked away slowly down the stairs in defeat.

Lucas didn't care, he was too tired and wanted to just sleep now.
