10x Cashback: Your Wealth Is Mine

Chapter 89 Apotheosis

Chapter 89 Apotheosis

89 Apotheosis

I had woken up to a beautiful day.

My acquisition of Walk Shop had somehow made the news overnight. The news had turned the tech and business world on its axis.

Headlines splashed across every news outlet proclaimed it as a game changing move with the analysts tweeting to speculate about my next steps.

With this news out in the open, there was no way I could hide anymore. Whether I liked it or not, the news will get back to my family but that was okay. I now had enough financially to begin my crusade. @@@@

I studied my status with a grin on my face.

[Status Screen]

[Name: Nicholas Voss]

[Cashback Rate: 10x (Base Rate)]

[Stamps collected: 4/99]

[Assets: $22 billion]

[Liquidity: $1.697 billion]

[Liabilities: N/A]

[Net Worth: $23.697 billion]

[Total Cashback earned: $23.570 billion]

[Pending Cashback: N/A]

The system had given me $1.5 billion in cash and had added the remaining $3.5 billion to my assets. Which was why I was here. To learn what my reward was now.

I dismissed the screen and focused back on the conference room of my Sunset Inn office.

It was time for the next step of my plan. My apotheosis. My evolution into who I wanted to become. "For now," I glanced at both men seated at either side of me. "I want to focus on consolidation."

"Consolidation?" Gray asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes." I said, leaning forward. "It's time to put everything under one roof. I'm creating a holding company."

The room went quiet for a beat. Lincoln and Gray exchanged glances before Lincoln spoke. "A holding company makes sense. It'll streamline operations and create a unified structure. But... are you sure?"

"Absolutely." I nodded confidently. "The world needs to see a single entity that represents everything I'm building. Sunset Inn, Cooper Real Estate, Walk Shop, Universal Sports Group, they'll all fall under the same banner."

Gray rubbed his chin as he worked through it in his mind. "You'll need a strong board of directors. If this holding company is going to command respect, its leadership has to be top-tier."

"Which is why I'm tasking you with building that board, Gray." I said. "Reach out to candidates who have the required level of expertise. A good mix of hospitality, tech, real estate and now sports. I want visionaries, not just yes-men."

Gray nodded, trying to keep his expression neutral but I caught the pride in his eyes. "Consider it done."

"Lincoln." I continued, turning to my legal counsel. "You'll handle the legal framework. Register the holding company, ensure compliance with all relevant laws, and oversee the transition of assets."

"Understood." Lincoln said, jotting down notes.

"Oh, and Gray," I added like I'd forgotten, "I'm investing a billion dollars into Cooper Real Estate."

He blinked in surprise. Why not pour a significant portion of my new cash reserve into building up a weapon I already have?

"Use it to transform the company into a Real Estate Investment Trust. With the REIT structure, we can attract institutional investors while maintaining control through the holding company."

Gray's eyes widened slightly but he quickly regained his composure. "That's a smart move. REITs are lucrative and it'll help us position ourselves as a player in the real estate market."

"Exactly." I said, leaning forward. "We're not just building companies. We're building an empire."

"And this holding company will be the throne."

He who controls the throne controls the kingdom.
