Chapter 325 You'll Have to Face My Might!

James snapped out of his thoughts when Lucifer addressed him and shook his head to clear his mind before replying, "I'll also choose Eva... I want to take a walk with her later today. Alone, of course."

"Huh...? Why do you need to make a request for that? You two are dating, right? You can take a walk whenever you want," Nathan said while looking at the two in confusion.

"Yes, I know, Nathan," James replied, smiling awkwardly before continuing, "But I just felt like doing it this way, that's all."

While James spoke, he gave Eva a quick glance. And when she saw this, she knew what her boyfriend meant. He wanted to have a talk with her. And probably about last night.

Eva felt nervous about that. She knew that she was done with her relationship with James, and she didn't want to continue to pretend otherwise. But still, she wasn't ready for the confrontation yet, so she would rather postpone it until the last day of the vacation; that way, she would have one more day to enjoy herself before dealing with the unpleasant situation.

However, it seemed like she needed to face it sooner. And she could only hope that James wouldn't cause a scene and that everything would go well.

"Okay... I accept the request," Eva said and nodded her head.

Afterward, Ethan gave the mini camera back to Madison, and she started checking on it right away. "You filmed the entire thing, Ethan?"

"Yeah. I recorded the entire race. I am sure you'll enjoy seeing it later, and of course, Lucifer too," Ethan smiled as he answered the question.

"Thanks!" The blonde girl said and smiled back at him before continuing to skim through the recording on the small screen of the mini camera.

"Sure. We are going to win this match," Eva said and smiled.

"Hehe... We'll see about that. Don't forget that I used to play volleyball before," Zoe added with a smug look. "And you'll have to face my might!"

"Hey! What about us? Are we just going to stay here and watch?!" Jack asked in a loud tone, not pleased at the idea of staying put while the girls played around. "Why don't we also play a match between ourselves?"

Lucifer looked at Jack and shrugged his shoulders before replying, "Sure, we can play a game, too. But only after the girls are done with theirs. I want to watch their match and see who wins. What do you guys say?"

James woke from his reverie and looked back at the other young man, "Yeah, yeah... That's fine with me."

After that was decided, the group moved over to an area of the beach that had a couple of volleyball nets and a lot of space for them to play. Then, the girls picked up a ball and started their game while the guys watched from the sidelines, cheering and rooting for their favorite girl.

The match began, and Madison immediately served the ball, hitting it straight towards the opposite court, making Layla rush forward to receive it before it touched the ground. Then she tossed the ball to Zoe, who was in the front of their side and was ready to spike it.

The brunette girl jumped up and hit the ball with all her might, sending it flying back over the net to where Eva was standing. But despite trying her best, she couldn't quite reach it, letting it hit the ground.

"Point for our team!" Zoe shouted happily as she celebrated by raising her hands above her head. "We are leading now!"
