Chapter 441 The breaking
Chapter 441 The breaking
Elithira turned her head slightly, her voice steady despite the pain. "What do you hope to gain from all of this?"
King Griswald's eyes turned cold. "Peace, for everyone in my world. I have seen the true powers of the vast universe, and I know how quickly everything I have worked for can be snapped away."
He twisted the blade further into her back, causing Elithira to grimace. "Even this is not enough to kill you; I know that much from the teachings Erebos has given me. But it will do enough for Erebos's next phase of his plans."
Elithira gripped the blade, her breaths ragged. "And what might that be?" she asked, struggling for air.
Erebos grabbed her chin, forcing her to look into his eyes. His gaze locked with hers, and she felt a cold chill run down her spine as his eyes flashed red.
Moments later, an eruption broke through the clouds above them, and cracks formed in the sky. Erebos chuckled, a dark, menacing sound. "So, they are already breaking the barrier?"
Elithira's heart pounded as she tried to comprehend the scale of what was happening.
The sky seemed to fracture, pieces falling like shards of glass. The air crackled with energy, the metallic tang of ozone filling her nostrils.

Meanwhile,
Nana and Sanguina moved out of the kingdom's castle, Sanguina carrying the full weight of the sleeping Todd with ease.
"You sure you can carry him just fine?" Nana asked, glancing at Sanguina.
Sanguina responded, "Of course, he's not as heavy as you'd think."
Nana chuckled. "I don't know about that. I think you're probably just insanely strong."
Moments later, she snapped her fingers, creating an explosion on the ground that propelled her hundreds of feet into the air. General Mattison watched, his eyes wide with surprise.
"Damn it, I wish I had Armond Zaraki with me. We could use one of our combo moves... oh well, I'll catch up," he muttered, determination etched on his face.
Oh well, I suppose, Everyone please stay on standby and be ready for whatever might happen next, I will follow and confirm the events that are unfolding.
All the men present snapped to attention as they saluted General Mattison and stated Yes Sir!
General Mattison drew his blade, holding it out in front of him. The sword gleamed red and black, casting eerie reflections on the surrounding walls. Suddenly, it emitted a blinding light that forced everyone nearby to shield their eyes.
In an instant, Mattison transformed into a crow, his feathers shimmering with the same red and black hues, and he soared into the sky, heading in the direction of the others.
As he departed, a thick cloud of smoke began to envelop the guards. The pungent scent of burning filled the air, stinging their nostrils. A voice, smooth and sinister, resonated through the haze, "Things sure are getting interesting here."
Meanwhile, Sanguina hurtled through the sky, the cold air slicing through her clothing and chilling her to the bone. The wind roared past her ears, drowning out all other sounds. Todd groggily opened his eyes, feeling the icy air prickling his skin. He rubbed his eyes and muttered, "Who turned on the cold air? Why do my shoulders ache? Ugh..."
Fully opening his eyes, Todd's stomach lurched as he saw the ground, a dizzying distance below. Panic surged through him. "Oh, what the hell is this? Where am I?!" he yelled, his voice barely audible over the rushing wind.
Sanguina's voice cut through the chaos, firm and reassuring. "We're off to pay Erebos a visit!" She adjusted her grip on Todd, her eyes scanning the horizon with determination.
The landscape below blurred into a mosaic of greens and browns as they flew. The cold air numbed Todd's cheeks, and his heart pounded in his chest. He could feel the tension in Sanguina's muscles as she propelled them forward, her resolve unwavering despite the frigid conditions.
"You sure you're fine holding me up? I know I can be heavy," Todd asked, his voice tinged with concern.
"You're all good, you big lug. I've carried much larger before," Sanguina replied, though her words sounded more remorseful than boastful, puzzling Todd.
"I see. Well, where exactly are we going?" he inquired.
