captain ishiro took a deep breath, trying to frame his words carefully. "it is my understanding you instructed her to head down to earth to investigate that soul that got captured by the demons, correct?"

captain aurelius shook his head, his expression a mix of frustration and resignation. "not entirely. i just sent her down so she could hopefully break that thought from her mind as it has been a nonstop issue for her. i thought going there to see his dead skeleton body would hopefully put her at ease. i didn't expect anything to come from it."
