Assassin at Range: The Sniper's Lethal Power

Chapter 33 33: Kampakro

Chapter 33 33: Kampakro

With a loud screech of metal scraping, the bronze coffin lid was lifted, and the smell of decay filled the tomb room. Inside the coffin, a figure in an elaborate suit slowly sat up.

[Reborn Kampakro (Silver Grade)]

Level: 10

Health: 600,000/600,000

Attack: 1600 (+320)

Defense: 1600

Skills: Frenzied Blades, Magic Shield, Shadow Shift, Dinner Time

Description: You have awakened the master of this tomb, are you ready to face his wrath?

Tristan couldn't help but scoff.

"Such a misleading description."

Others might not know, but Tristan did. Kampakro was merely the Vampire Baron's steward. The reason he was sealed in this luxurious vampire coffin was a deception, meant to hide the presence of the Baron. Otherwise, someone of Kampakro's rank wouldn't sleep in such an extravagant tomb.

As Tristan was thinking, Kampakro fully awakened, leaping out of the coffin and landing steadily on the ground, his sinister gaze sweeping across the tomb room. He had been awakened, indicating an intruder had entered.

However, there was no sign of the enemy in his line of sight.

A Stealth enemy.

Tristan remained hidden in the shadows, biding his time.

Kampakro was different from the previous BOSSes. His perception was extremely sharp. Moreover, with his Shadow Shift skill, he could instantly appear in another location and seamlessly execute Frenzied Blades, unleashing a massive AOE attack.

To defeat such a BOSS, some technique was required.

Luckily, Tristan knew exactly what to do.

The answer lay in the surrounding pillars.

In order to solo Kampakro, players needed to strategically use the pillars around the room. When attacking, they would retreat behind a pillar to avoid getting hit. Even if Kampakro used Shadow Shift to follow, the pillar would block him, giving the player a breathing space.

Of course, this strategy was easier said than done.

Mainly because of Kampakro's speed. Players with less than 150 agility would not be able to dodge his deadly double attack.

But for Tristan, that wasn't a problem.

With over 200 agility, avoiding his attacks was a breeze.

Using Shadow Stealth, Tristan moved beside a pillar, raised his hand, and threw a flying knife.

-440!

As Kampakro's summons echoed, several figures began to form around him.

[Maid Milena (Bronze Grade)]

[Gardener Bob (Bronze Grade)]

[Fisherman (Bronze Grade)]

[Coachman Jens (Bronze Grade)]

...

The second phase of the BOSS fight—the righteous group beatdown—began!

This was the most difficult phase of Kampakro's fight. Not only did he have high damage output, but now he had called upon four minions. If the player wasn't prepared, they would be quickly overwhelmed.

The good news was that all of Kampakro's minions were Bronze Grade, rather than the same Silver Grade as him.

If five Silver Grade minions had been summoned, unless the player had full level 10 Golden equipment, they wouldn't even stand a chance in this dungeon.

But then came the question:

Where could a level 10 player find so much Golden equipment?

The answer: Crimson Tomb Nightmare Difficulty's special mode—defeat the hidden BOSS, Vampire Baron, and get guaranteed Golden equipment.

But how would you meet the Vampire Baron?

You had to defeat Kampakro first.

How do you defeat Kampakro?

Wear Golden equipment...

An unsolvable loop.

Tristan vaguely remembered some of the funny stories about Crimson Tomb from his past life.

For instance, players who had not even cleared the dungeon yet tried to run it with other players who had already finished it.

A lot of fun was had with this situation.

As Tristan thought, Shadow Stealth was ready again, so he took aim at Kampakro and threw another flying knife.

Capture the leader first. As long as Kampakro fell, the remaining four minions would disappear without a trace. There was no need to waste time on them.

After all, they wouldn't drop any equipment.

Normally, a full team would focus on clearing the minions first, or the main tank would be overwhelmed. But for Tristan, there was no need to.

As the damage numbers appeared, Kampakro was already rushing toward Tristan. At the same time, his minions rushed in as well.

They cast their various skills, completely covering Tristan's previous position.

The stone pillars also took more damage, and they could only last two more hits before being destroyed.
