LUCKY REINCARNATION: REINCARNATED WITH A HAREM SYSTEM

Chapter 41 Buying a sword

Chapter 41 Buying a sword

In the end, Leon managed to reduce the number of disciples who wanted to invite him to their stalls to only five disciples.

These were the only disciples who claimed to have the sword that he was looking for.

He was looking for a sword with a white scabbard and golden hilt.

Leon had taken a few minutes to go from one stall to the other to check out their goods, the other disciples obviously followed him around even though he wasn't going to come to their stalls.

"Hmm, this one isn't long enough"

"The blade doesn't seem so sharp and it is single edged"

"The design isn't good enough, the carvings are too small"

....

One after another, Leon moved to the boots of the disciples and examined the swords. He managed to find faults in every sword that he had been given until he reached the boot of the fifth disciple.

Shing!!

A metallic sound rang out as Leon pulled the sword out from its scabbard and the blade of the sword gleaned from the sunlight, causing Leon to squint his eyes from the brilliance.

Taking a good look at the sword in his hand, Leon's fingers firmly gripped the twenty-centimeter-long hilt that had a dragon carving at the end! The body of the dragon seemed to be curling around the hilt like a dragon climbing a mountain its head extending outside.

A couple of inches curved crossguard connected the golden hilt and the sharp-looking blade of the sword; the tail of the dragon carving extended through the crossguard and entered the blade before cracking through it like the painting of charred earth.

'I like this one!'

Leon's eyes gleamed with desire for the sword, the sword was just what he needed to become a full sword immortal!

Turning to the disciple with a calm smile on his face as if he was barely resisting the urge to escape with the sword in his hand, Leon asked her how much it was sold for.

He now considered himself to be fairly rich; he was currently carrying ten gold coins with him, which was the yearly income of some families; a single sword shouldn't be too much for him to afford.

The disciple instantly beamed with a smile when she realized that Leon intended to buy from her; she had seen how Leon found faults in the swords of the other disciples and was worried that he would find faults with her swords, too.

Luckily, that wasn't the case; Senior Brother was going to buy from her!

"I see Senior Brother has good eyes, as expected. This sword is actually a graded weapon, and it's a tier-1 sword that was retrieved from an ancient ruin; only those at level two and above can use it and show its true might.

Leon smiled at the disciple and reached into his pouch, wanting to take out the coins and finalize the trading process.

"Hold it right there!"

A loud voice sounded at this moment from behind the disciples, this voice caused Leon's back to straighten slightly due to how stern it was.

The disciples immediately made way for the owner of the voice and Leon looked over as well.

He wasn't mistaken, it was his Senior Sister, Bai Quing!

The sect mistress of the falcon sect! The disciples all instantly scattered at the arrival of Bai Quing and each one of them returned to their boots as fast as they could.

Bai Quing stared at Leon and the blushing disciple with narrowed eyes as she walked over.

She looked at the sword in Leon's hand with a sharp glint in her eyes. She was already aware of the situation and didn't need anyone to explain things to her.

Leon gulped. For some reason, Bai Quing looked just like the first time they met, and she had attacked him; he wondered if the effect of system skills stopped affecting her.

After staring at Leon for a long while, Bai Quing let out a sigh and her stern expression instantly collapsed.

"I told you not to do anything fishy in the sect, what are you doing to this disciple on your first day?" Bai Quing asked with an annoyed face, she was already feeling a headache; luckily, it wasn't one of Zi Yan's supporters that saw him.

"What? I didn't do anything; she agreed to sell it to me," Leon shrugged and said innocently.

Bai Quing obviously wasn't going to buy that crap, she had clearly seen Leon whisper something to the disciple and made her blush like a tomato before suddenly declaring that she would sell the sword that was worth 100 gold coins for five. She could only imagine what this shameless Junior Brother of hers had said to the young girl.

Ignoring Leon, Bai Quing waved her hand and a gold pouch appeared on her palm. She handed it to the disciple.

"Here, 200 gold coins for the sword" she stated before turning to Leon.

Leon's mouth hung open as he stared at the pouch, 200 coins! So much money.

"S-senior Sister, I also need..." Leon turned to Bai Quing and made sad puppy eyes. He wanted to ask for money but was cut off by her.

"Zip it, follow me" Bai Quing hissed before pulling him by the ear and walking out of the market area.

"Ouch! Ouch! Senior Sister, please be gentle!" Leon cried. He wasn't feeling pain since Bai Quing wasn't using much strength in her grip, but this action was ruining his "Dignified Senior Brother " image.

Although he soon forgot about this as he stared passionately at Bai Quing's butt while following behind her.
