Morning came, Leon and Fengxue stood outside the enormous gates of the city walls with Fengxue's parents and a few other beastmen Standing behind them.
It was time for Leon to return to his sect.
Last night, after messing up Fengxue, Leon had cleaned the place with a robe in his storage ring to get rid of the traces they left behind but the musky scent wasn't something that he could casually get rid of.
After the ceremony ended, the various families returned to their homes, and the curtain was lifted. The newly married couple were revealed, Fengxue was resting her head on Leon's shoulder and was fast asleep with a happy grin on her face.@@@@
Only her mother was currently present in the hall, everyone else seemed to have left.
A single sentence from the woman had almost sent Leon into shock.
Fengxue's mother had actually figured out what happened just from sniffing the air.
"You two are really bold, doing such a thing in public," she had said.
Leon had almost panicked but quickly calmed down, his mother-in-law was just a chill person and would definitely cover for them.
The two then left without any mishaps and went to continue their deeds in Leon's room.

Currently, Fengxue's father stared at the tired-looking Leon with narrowed eyes. He felt very suspicious of this cat but didn't know what the issue was.
He could only push the matter to the back of his mind.
"My wife has informed me of the current situation of the outside world, are you sure you do not want to stay?" He asked with concern, mainly for his daughter who was stubbornly clinging to Leon.
Leon cupped his hands and said respectfully.
"It's precisely because of this situation that I need to return as soon as possible so I can provide them with assistance,"
His father-in-law sighed before looking at his faith; he wasn't even given the time to speak before she fiercely refused to leave Leon's side; she had spent an entire year away from him, and that was already torturous enough.
"Sigh. All right then, please be sure to keep her safe. She might be powerful and act mature but she's still a kid and sometimes does reckless things." Fengxue's father said with a helpless and tired tone.
Leon silently nodded and sympathized with him, he could perfectly understand his situation.
After all, Fengxue had controlled a large group of beasts to attack a human city just to prove that she wasn't useless and didn't need to be married off. How was that supposed to help with their problem?
Of course, Fengxue wasn't going to shut up and watch her reputation get stepped on.

Her father rubbed his forehead and said; he was getting a headache from this girl.
Fengxue's paw stopped just centimeters away from Leon's face.
"What are you doing? I could have hurt you!" Fengxue panicked and hurriedly transformed to her human form, she began to check Leon's body to see if she had accidentally touched him.
"I'm, you didn't hurt me," Leon said.
Fengxue sighed in relief before suddenly snapping, she began to scold Leon about why he had jumped in front of her attack.
Leon explained that he was just trying to stop her from attacking the barrier. He didn't know if attacking the barrier would alert the sect, but he sure knew that Quin Xuxu would see Fengxue as an enemy if she saw her huge fox from attacking the barrier.
"Then how do we enter if I don't break it?" Fengxue asked as she began to study the barrier.
Leon shook his head before taking out his disciple's token and taking Fengxue's fair hand into his palm before stepping toward the barrier.
The two passed through it as if it were a bubble. Fengxue was surprised to find herself on the other side of a sturdy barrier. The thing had appeared indestructible, but she didn't feel even the slightest resistance after Leon held her hand.
"How...how did you do that?" She asked, baffled.
Leon smiled and explained that it was his token. The barrier would prevent anyone without a token from entering, this prevented the sect from getting invaded.
Others could only sneak into the sect by killing a disciple and stealing their token.
"Come, let's go." Leon smiled at Fengxue and said softly.

The Falcon sect was currently in a busy period and the tension in the air was thick enough to be seen. After the news of the war, the disciples and elders outside were all being recalled and the sect was slowly increasing in population.
Of course, it would not be as populated as it was before the attack from the demonic sect.
Everyone was training and trying to improve as much as possible within the limited time that they had.
Leon stepped into the outer sect ground with a beautiful white three-tailed fox on his shoulder.
He instantly attracted the attention of the disciples who were present and they all rushed to him. They were captivated by Fengxue's beauty at one moment only for them to create distance between themselves and Leon after realizing that the cute fox was a level 6 ranked beast.

"Hmph, weaklings. The Falcon sect is only so so, expected better." Fengxue snorted disdainfully as she glanced at the disciples in the distance; everyone she saw was at the 2nd level at best; this wasn't what she had expected from a second-rated sect.
"This is because we're in the outer sect ground, the disciples here are obviously of the lowest strength," Leon explained.
