Chapter 317 Ch 320 Missions Begins

So the very next day, all three of them went their separate ways for their respective missions. Rein went to check the underground market area of the city while Lopas went to the house of the city lord. As for Luna, she went to the grand library of the city.

The grand library of this city had been created a very long time ago. According to some historical records Luna had studied before coming to the city, this library was actually one of the first few libraries which released some of the secret books related to magic to the general population.

For all those reason, even in the city, the library had a great historical value. So even till the present day, it was maintained extremely well. The library building was old but was still doing perfectly fine. The books were in good condition and it was clear that the library staffs were careful about handling them.

Luna was very satisfied with the condition of the library and was excited about checking some of the books out. So she went to the counter where the librarian in charge was and handed him a student id card of the academy and the mission acceptance documents.

The librarian was surprised at first with the documents but after reading them, he understood that the student in front of him was here for official business. So he nodded his head and gave Luna a seal that would allow her to access all the books without any restriction.

Then the librarian was taken aback after checking Luna's identity. After noticing that she was actually a royal princess, he immediately tried to show his reverence. But Luna stopped him hurriedly and told him that she was here as a regular student and him revealing her identity would be problematic for their mission. The librarian in charge was well aware of the types of missions that the academy teachers and students needed to do, so he kept himself in check.

After her interaction with the library in charge was over, Luna finally happily started to interact with the books. There was a lot of books in this library that she was encountering for the first time. So she was extremely happy.

While Lopas and Luna both were taking it easy, Rein was doing the exact opposite. He was making good progress in his investigation of the traces related to the genius forbidden mage of the past, Jakery.

But that was not because he was neglecting his mission and was only focusing on his personal objectives. Actually this smooth progress was mostly because of some extreme coincidences.

One of the gang member who was working for the "Ghost of Youtu" turned out to be a person who was related to Jakery by blood. That person was supposed to be from the bloodline of Jakery's brother. Rein actually had no trouble finding this information because the guy in question was very proud of this fact and had told everyone about this.

Being related to a rank 5 mage was really something amazing so it made sense why he would be proud of that. But at the same time it could also bring danger as mages of such a high rank most of the time had many hidden enemies. But this time Rein was happy that this man was so outspoken about it.

So just after finding one of the hidden location of this Ghost of Youtu group, he had already managed to find some clues about Jakery. He was still a bit suspicious if this person was really related to Jakery or not but after hearing about some of the evidence that the man in question had, Rein found that the chance of that man actually being related to Jakery was quite high. So now he was going to take have a little talk with the person himself in one of the less known tavern which was another hidden base for the Ghost of Youtu.

So would this person be any help to Rein and in his search for Jakery's past ?
