After reaching the city of Pnesum, Rein immediately booked the most expensive inn of the city. He booked a large six person room for all of them to stay together. There were only two six person room in this inn, so they cost a little extra.
After losing most of their connections, the Donesier family were not in a very good condition financially. So when Mertha saw the amount they needed to pay for just a single night in this inn, she almost fainted. But for Rein, Lopas and Luna, that massive amount was absolutely nothing.
Even Flora who was not very knowledgeable about money was scared after seeing the amount. After seeing Rein nonchalantly paying the sum in one go and even booking the room for one whole week in advance, she felt like she was in a dream.
At first Mertha did feel like they were cheated as she could not imagine what kind of room could cost such an insane sum of money. But after she got to experience the facilities of the room, her mind changed.
She still thought that the cost of the room was a bit too much but she also had to accept that the room that they got was almost heavenly. It was not just a room but a while floor that they got. And as this inn itself was super large, they amount of area they had all for themselves was extremely large.
That was not all. This "inn room" had a garden and a swimming pool. That was almost unbelievable. It was so luxurious that both Mertha and Flora were dumbfounded. Their jaws dropped to the floor when Lopas offhandedly mentioned that this inn was on the lower side among the expensive inns where they had stayed.
After having a little bit of fun inside the inn room for a day, the very next day Rein, Lopas and Luna left the inn for their mission. That factory whose magic machine was showing problem had shut down so Rein wanted to solve the problem as soon as possible.
While Rein and his girls went out of the inn, Mertha and Flora stayed inside. As luxurious high end inn, the security of this place was top notch. So Rein believed that the mother and daughter pair would be safe inside.
As Rein got closer to the person, he noticed that his face was already turning red and he was quite a bit drunk. It looked like even in the morning he was drinking quite heavily. Several bottles of booze were lying around close to his feet proving that point.

Rein sat down opposite to the man and hearing that sound, he looked up. Seeing that Rein was just a kid, he smiled like a fool and told Rein that he was too young for a drink. Rein sighed and started telling the man that he was here from the magic academy and needed to enter the factory.
But the guard was too drunk to listen to Rein properly and in the middle of the conversation, he fell asleep. This was something Rein had expected so he was surprised and just felt that it was troublesome. So he took out a potion from his storage and made the guard to forcefully drink it.
It was a potion that was super effective in getting rid of intoxication. So as soon as the potion entered his body, the gaurd immediately woke up. This time instead of introducing himself as just a student of the magic academy, Rein introduced himself as a noble and immediately the guard stood up straight.
After that, Rein explained the situation again and the guard immediately handed Rein the keys of the factory. Rein was dumbfounded. He had expected the guard to come with him to keep an eye on things but he turned out to be even lazier than he had expected.
Rein immediately decided to do something to stop him from being a guard anymore. He had not even verified Rein's identity and had handed the key to him by simply believing his word. That was way too careless. But Rein did not tell the guard about his thoughts as their investigation would go smoother without him in the factory. So Rein just accepted the keys and went back.
That was how the last away mission started for Rein, Lopas and Luna.
