With a face full of confidence, Norman sent his good friend and his trump card Gustos to the battle arena that the city lord had prepared. Norman had already started preparing for the after party of his glorious victory. He was also planning to get rid of the useless subordinates who were siding with his daughter.
Norman was so confident in his victory that he did not even looked at the fight. So when the cheers from his side stopped and Katla's side started to celebrate their victory, Norman became very confused.
Then he looked at the battle arena to see an unbelievable sight. His trump card, Gustos was lying in the middle of a large crater, unconscious. This was a sight that Norman found unbelievable.
He immediately asked the people around him what in the hell had happened when he was not looking. And to his utter disbelief, he was told that his daughter had managed to enlist the help of a rank 4 mage who had managed to defeat Gustos with just a single spell.

At first Rein was planning to send Luna for the fight as their opponent Gustos looked to be quite capable and would make a good grindstone for Luna. But Katla then requested Rein for an overwhelmingly superior showing with stars in her eyes. That would be extremely helpful for her in establishing her authority.
Rein did not reject Katla's request and had to change his plans. Instead of Luna, he decided to send Lopas and asked her to use a relatively powerful spell at the very beginning.
The next day, Rein, Loaps and Luna met up with Katla again. After winning the duel and getting the position of the family head, she looked extremely relaxed. After the party Rein was planning to repair the magic machines but it turned out that after learning why Lopas was here, the city lord decided to send his own mages to repair those machines so Rein did not need to bother.
So now Rein and his group had nothing more to do in the city. So they were going enjoy the whole day with Katla and then would have a meeting with the city lord the next day. Then after doing a little more shopping, they were going to leave for the capital.
With those plans in mind, they joined Katla in the festivities. Katla had prepared a lot of good food and had called for berds and dancers for entertainment. So the whole celebration turned out to be very grand.
After the large celebration was over, Katla joined Rein and the girls for a little private celebration. Mertha and Flora were also able to take part in this celebration. Overall it was an extremely fun day for everyone.

On the next morning, Rein, Lopas and Luna left the inn to meet with the city lord, Arcor. Flora and Mertha were also coming with them as Arcor was a noble from the Duke Leonance's faction, so he would not harm the ladies who were protected by the Duke's family.
During the Authority Duel, Rein had found the city lord to be quite an impressive person with both strength and intelligence. So he was also looking forward to meeting him.
