"Both of us are vagrant cultivators who travel from place to place with no real home to speak of. As for what we're planning to buy, there's nothing specific that we have in mind, so we'll just have to see," Han Li replied in an ambiguous manner.
Lan Mei didn't pry any further, offering a bright smile as she said, "Our Sun Moon Pavilion is taking this auction very seriously, and we've prepared many exceptional items to suit a wide range of needs."
Han Li nodded in response, then asked some more questions about the auction, all of which Lan Mei was able to answer in a satisfactory manner.
Weeping Soul was rather displeased to see Han Li chatting so amicably with Lan Mei, and she pouted slightly in chagrin as she stoically ignored the two of them.
Before long, the two of them had been led to an independent room.
The room was only around twenty to thirty feet in size, and inside was a long bench and a white stone table, upon the latter of which were placed cups of spirit tea and bowls of immortal fruits.
The furnishings were quite minimalistic, but the entire place was very tidy, and there was a faint, soothing fragrance in the air.

"If you need anything, just ring this bell," Lan Mei replied as she set a small bell onto the table, then departed from the booth.
Following her departure, Han Li swept a sleeve through the air to conjure up an azure light barrier that encompassed the entire room, following which he turned to Weeping Soul as he asked, "Why are you so quiet all of a sudden?"
"You were clearly thoroughly enjoying speaking to her, so a third wheel like me should just keep her mouth shut," Weeping Soul replied with more than a hint of passive-aggression in her voice.
"What are you talking about? I was just asking her some questions about the auction," Han Li said in an amused manner.
Weeping Soul's expression eased slightly upon hearing this, but she was clearly still not happy.
As soon as his voice trailed off, the plaza immediately became abuzz with excited chatter.
Han Li's eyes also lit up slightly at the sight of the Earth Emperor Crystal.
Even though he had already spotted the item on the jade slip, it didn't have the same impact as seeing the actual item.
Earth Emperor Crystals were a supreme earth-attribute material equivalent to Heavenly Vajra Diamonds among metal-attribute materials, and it was the most sought after material for all cultivators of earth law powers.
On top of that, this Earth Emperor Crystal could be used to refine fourth tier immortal treasures.
Fifth tier immortal treasures weren't exactly common, but they weren't all that rare, either.
