Chapter 5758: Seventh Battlefield

Chapter 5758: Seventh Battlefield

Bi Wanan’s matter did cause large waves in the violet blood race. However, as Long Chen had anticipated, the Bi family had covered their tracks well. There was no concrete evidence to be used against them.

Although the race leader issued a stern warning to the Bi family, the matter ultimately passed without major consequences, much to the surprise of the other families.

Moreover, the Luo family was unusually silent in the face of this judgment. They made no effort to investigate further, as if they were entirely indifferent to the situation.

After several days of rest, Luo Yanfeng and the others had fully recovered. The brutal battles they had endured had significantly sharpened their power. However, Long Chen instructed them to focus on controlling their auras, ensuring they did not reveal their newfound strength. At the very least, they couldn’t let others see that they had undergone such a massive transformation.

While they had mostly recovered in two days, Long Chen insisted they rest for three more to refine their aura control. Mastering this was incredibly difficult—it required the highest level of power regulation to suppress or conceal their presence at will.

Luckily, due to their repeated bitter battles, they had developed an instinctual understanding of energy control. Otherwise, achieving such precision would have been impossible.

Three days later, their control finally reached Long Chen’s standards. To outsiders, it would now appear as if they had not undergone any major improvements.

After they had emerged from seclusion, their first destination was the exchange center. It was finally time to spend their hard-earned points.

During their last mission, they fought continuously, barely having time to breathe. They didn’t even track their accumulated points because they didn’t know whether they would survive. When they checked now, the sheer number nearly made them faint.

Even those on the lower end had earned over thirty thousand points. To put it into perspective, Luo Yanfeng had only managed to earn about the same amount during their previous mission.

This time, however, he had amassed over eighty thousand points, while the squad leaders had around fifty-five thousand each. The number of devils they had slain was simply staggering.

With this many points, they started to trade for the various battle armors, divine weapons, medicinal pills, and talismans that were available to them.

Last time, they had exhausted all their life-saving treasures, narrowly escaping death multiple times. They now understood just how crucial these items were.

Due to his minimal participation in the battle, Long Chen had very few points. Without hesitation, Luo Yanfeng handed over his own tablet, insisting that Long Chen use it.

This time, Long Chen didn’t stand on courtesy. He exchanged fifty-five thousand points for a single Blue Star Grass.

Luo Yanfeng was stunned. What kind of medicinal herb could possibly be worth so much? Even the exchange center’s attendant was shocked, repeatedly confirming the transaction with Long Chen before processing it.

Many of the violet blood race’s ancient treasures originated from the primal chaos era, and the knowledge of their true uses had been lost over time. As a result, the violet blood race’s experts didn’t even know what these ingredients were used for, and they only got the value from historical records.

Once purchased, these rare items could not be traded, making the decision final. That was why the attendant was so cautious, asking several times before letting Long Chen purchase it.

“That is fine. Please go ahead,” Long Chen replied without hesitation.

Seeing no room for persuasion, Elder Yinyu activated the formation, and Long Chen’s group vanished.

Just moments later, Luo Shenghui and his group arrived.

“We’re going to the seventh battlefield,” Luo Shenghui said coldly.

Before Elder Yinyu could say anything, another group from the Bi family arrived.

“The seventh battlefield,” one of them declared.

Elder Yinyu’s expression darkened as he glared at them. He said, “Our race strictly forbids disciples from killing each other on the battlefield. What exactly are you planning?”

“We’re just going for points,” one disciple said indifferently. “The seventh battlefield has the most devils. What’s wrong with us going there?”

“That’s right. They went, so why can’t we?” sneered a disciple from the Bi family. “Or are you saving all the good stuff for your Luo family?”

As more and more groups arrived, Elder Yinyu’s suspicion deepened. He hesitated, debating whether to intervene.

Just then, a voice rang out.

“Let them through. That is their right.”

“Elder Zichuan!”

Seeing who it was, Elder Yinyu immediately stepped aside, allowing them to pass. The Bi family had dispatched three entire groups to the seventh battlefield.

Once they were all through, Elder Yinyu turned to Luo Zichuan and asked, “Elder Zichuan, isn’t this dangerous?”

“Yes,” Elder Zichuan replied calmly.

But he did not say for whom.
