"I explained that the light of the sun was destructive to my good friends the vampires, at least for the most part- But that it was not due to a curse, but to a very sneaky blessing, I am certain a learned woman like yourself would know that most of the moons were see floating around in the distance at night are actually shining using the sunlight to do so, so how come they are empowered under this shine then?" he pointed at the elf, as though expecting her to participate in his exposition speech.

She shook and her head, the undead king stopped moving, so she eventually relented, rubbing the bridge of her nose.

"God dammit... You already explained this last time! It's because the power of the light of day is diluted by its passage through a moon or something, the sun empowers vampires, but direct sunlight is too potent by design, and burns them away completely, both in body, in soul et cetera!" sighing, the Elven Light spoke.

Above his head, an antithesis formed, like an accursed reflection.
