A claw flashed faster, slapping away the hand before it could touch Ryuk.

A deep, threatening growl left Isha's lips as her maw opened wide, staring at the golden-haired girl—none other than Morgaine.
"It's okay, Isha," Ryuk stated, calming Isha, who only looked at Morgaine for a moment before turning her head away.
"Well, you never asked..." He replied to Morgaine, who had her eyes on her hand, which had been slapped away by Isha.
Her hand had reddened slightly, showing she had taken quite the damage from Isha's casual swipe.
"Now I see why you were so protective of it. It seems it wouldn't even allow me to touch you at all—just as overprotective of you as you are of it..." Morgaine muttered before asking, "But somehow, this form of hers is a little different, isn't it? "
"She was more of huge python when I last saw her. Or... is this another one?"
Ryuk shrugged his shoulders. "She has grown."
"I never thought I would find a majestic Frost Wyvern in the outside world, yet here is one before me..."
The voice echoed from behind, making Ryuk turn his gaze. He found a Naga standing before Isha, who shook her palms with her claws.
She was one of the top Nagas—one ranked among the top ten—with a snow-serpentine tail close to 1.5 meters in length trailing behind her.
"This one has a familiar bloodline..."
Isha's tiny voice echoed in Ryuk's mind as she looked at the Nagas, who turned her head to him.
"I am Seraphis," she introduced herself.@@@@
"Ryuk," he responded with a nod.
"The Frost Wyvern is an ancient royal beast of our Nagas families."
"The ones we have, though, are mostly in slumber."
"And according to our knowledge, there are almost none present in Endearth apart from them."
"It's a surprise that you would have one with you..." Seraphis added, drawing a furrowed brow from Ryuk.
"This is the first time I'm hearing there are other Frost Wyverns out there. I thought she was the only one. Guess she's not so special after all..."
The voice resonated in his mind before he could make any move, and he unconsciously heaved a sigh.
"Hey, Isha. I'm not the outgoing type in here. I like to keep my things secretive, you get? Don't go getting too familiar with the students. Not everyone you see smiling at you really likes you," Ryuk replied in his mind.
"Don't worry. If they don't like me, I'll just beat them until they do. Hehehe."
Isha replied, and Ryuk rolled his eyes, deciding to ignore the issue as he headed outside the class as well.

DIIING!
The sound of the elevator opening up resounded as a snowy white-haired figure stepped out. Stretching his hands, he reached for the knob, only to pause as he slowly turned his head behind him.
His gaze pierced down through the glass of the skyscraper and locked onto a figure standing on the ground below.
"Hmmm..."
A hum escaped Ryuk's lips as he looked down at the figure, who also happened to be staring straight at him.
'A human?' he thought, eyeing the short golden-haired young man who appeared to be about 19—around Ryuk's height.
What drew Ryuk's attention the most, however, were his pupils. They weren't the usual circular shape. Instead, they bore the image of a heavy sword, flashing in and out with a golden light.
"I..."
"Am..."
"Arthur..."
The young man's lips moved, and Ryuk heard the words clearly.
'He must be the most talented human among the newcomers.'
"Ryuk," he responded, his lips also moved in response before he finally turned the knob and stepped into the room.
