Cain read through the description of the {Fang of Gluttony}.
Compared to other weapons he had gotten or currently possessed, this one by far had one of the longest descriptions, maybe even the longest.
And that was because the weapon was special.
It had come from the body of a being that was feared by gods. It was created by a divine Forgemaster too.
Staring at the blade, he realized it fit rather snuggly in hands.
The skills attached to the weapon were rather unique too. The first two skills were rather strange. {Devour} was linked to the stats of the weapon itself.
The more things the weapon ate, bthe stronger it would grow.
{Morph} on the other hand was more peculiar than the first. It could take on any shape the wielder wished.
Right now, it looked like a black dagger made from the teeth of some eldritch nightmare. This was probably the original form of the dagger.
The skill had obvious limitations, such as the size and shape of the variations. However, when its power grew with {Devour}, the upper limit would increase correspondingly.
The last two skills on the other hand, were more like conditions to use the weapon.
{Price of Gluttony} was a skill that made sure once the blade started its growth, it would not stop growing until it consumed everything.
If the wielder of the blade stopped feeding it, it would eventually consume its master, leaving it without a master, allowing it to start the process all over again until it met someone worthy.
{Soul of Avarice} was also a skill of inevitably. As long as the weapon was kept fed,the dormant soul of Buldokak within it would eventually awaken, forcing the weapon to evolve.
He let out a sigh as he placed the weapon back into the {Armament Armory}.
Then he slowly stood to his feet. Roselle rose to hers as well,
"Let's go meet the others."

The circular floating platform in the sky was now less occupied.
Scattered around the central lake were lone individuals and groups of creatures, some big, some small.
However, one thing they all had in common, was strength.
Those who had survived the first two trials were by no means weak, each one at least possessing strength at the peak of the first Tier, or in some cases, greater.
Cain felt a few glances on his as he walked by, but he didn't mind. Roselle followed closely behind him, her eyes covertly scanning the crowd.
Eventually, he spotted the huge back of Asteron after a few minutes of
Cain was starting to see a trend with these trials.
By his calculations, there were still a few more days till the trials were over. They still had some time left.
Once these trials were over, they would be able to complete the final requirement for completing the Trials of Heaven.
'Kill a Star.'
He still had no idea what or who this star was. But he would find out.
Eventually...
"I will not yield on this one thing, Asteron!"
A loud roar came from the other direction. Following it was a tremendous surge of bloodlust that might as well have been considered a physical phenomenon.
Cain looked up and stared at the one-eyed axe wielding creature staring at them with eyes filled with malice.
He pointed the axe at them— no, not at them.
It pointed it at the stone faced Evangeline.
In a loud voice, it bellowed,
"I want the head of that one, Asteron. I will join you then and then only."
